TYRE AND MATTRESS MUSTER
The Mattress & Tyre Muster is back for 2024, on Saturday, 25 May! 
This is an opportunity for Upper Hunter Shire households to dispose of one mattress and four tyres (up to and including light truck sizes) for no charge. Any additional items will be charged at their standard, advertised rate.
Please note this initiative is only for domestic customers that are residents of Upper Hunter Shire. No businesses / commercial customers. Proof of residency will be required to take advantage of this free drop-off event.Can Assist Merriwa

SHEEP DOG SCHOOL – CASSILIS
We are excited to be working with Peter Crowe of Macelbri Kelpies, Timor to bring to the Upper Hunter for this one-day sheep dog training school in Cassilis.
Designed for the intermediate-expert dog trainer, these dog training schools are designed to boost your dog’s skills in the yard and in the paddock. You will learn tips and tricks on how to get the best out of your dog.
*Two dogs per participant. All dogs must be parvo vaccinated in the last 12 months – proof will need to be provided.
In the interest of sheep welfare, biting dogs are expected to be muzzled. Fence-sitters welcome – all levels!
Limited positions are available and you must live in the Upper Hunter region.
