www.upperhunter.nsw.gov.au

The emphasis in Family Day Care is on security, warmth, learning and FUN in a home environment.  There is no fixed routine but there are plenty of FUN activities for the children including singing, storytelling, music, make-believe, dressing up, playdough and more.  Our Carers attend programmed playgroups and also take children on excursions and outings in the local community.

The Upper Hunter Family Day Care scheme has been operating for over 20 years. With the coordination unit based at Scone it services Muswellbrook, Scone, Merriwa and Murrurundi.

FDC is approved to operate 24 hours, and so non-standard evening, early morning, weekend, or overnight care may be available in certain circumstances. FDC also supports In-Home child care for eligible families, where care is provided from the family home (strict eligibility criteria applies). Government assistance with the cost of care (CCB/CCR) is available to eligible families.
