The Merriwa Tourist Welcoming Centre is a community owned business, operating as a co-op promoting all types of local arts and crafts. We have been in business for 10 years and are now very much a must-visit venue for travellers on the golden highway between Newcastle and dubbo and points beyond. Our visitors book tells the tale of many Australian cities and overseas countries and our flags reflect these visitors.

We pride ourselves on the quality of all our products and have many return visitors who have  talked about  our location and services to their friends – (word of mouth being the best method of advertising).

We are located in the centre of town, near local eateries, the rsl and other points of interest such as the historical cottage.

Our business is run by volunteers, the life blood of all small towns.
