Week Starting Monday 5th August 2024

🎉 Fundraising Update on Merriwa Shared Pathway! 🎉

We’re excited to share that our total is now $𝟒𝟒,𝟗𝟖𝟖.𝟖𝟖! We’re just $𝟏𝟓,𝟎𝟎𝟎 short of our $60,000 goal. This $60,000 will allow us to cover ALL the residential co-contributions imposed by the Upper Hunter Shire Council. Right now, we can only cover a partial payment for affected residents. Many of these residents are pensioners, and we aim to provide the full amount to alleviate their burden.

We understand that with the current cost of living pressures, spare cash is limited, but every little bit helps and will lessen the burden on those being charged.

A big thank you to everyone who has made a donation, contributed cans and bottles to the Men’s Shed for the 10c recycling, purchased raffle tickets, popped some spare change in our donation tins, and shared our posts. Your support has been incredible, and every contribution brings us closer to our goal.

The Merriwa Men’s Shed is still collecting 10c returnables, and every one helps.

Donations can still be made through our GoFundMe page at https://gofund.me/4a789411 or directly to the Merriwa and District Chamber of Commerce:
– **Bank:** Regional Australia Bank
– **BSB:** 932 000
– **Account:** 100 498 003
– **Account Name:** Merriwa and District Chamber of Commerce

Together, we can bridge the remaining $15,000 gap and make Merriwa an even better place to live and visit. Thank you all for your amazing support!
