Week Starting Monday 27th May 2024

The CDDG has been successful in securing a second round of funding through the ‘Be Connected’ initiative. This will allow another program to be held in Cassilis, following on from the successful one held earlier in the year. More details will be announced in the coming months….
‘Be Connected’ is an initiative that aims to narrow the digital divide & support people in the community so they can be confident & well-connected online.

Wow!!! What an amazing night we have had.
Thank you to each and everyone of you who came to support our fundraiser for Sadie. We raised over $2000 from this event to go towards Sadie’s treatment and miscellaneous cost involved.

Gunnedah Physical Culture please keep us updated on Sadie’s progress. Thank you for coming and joining us for this event.
Yes physie is a competitive sport but it’s also where you make life long friends, rise together and support each other no matter what club you are from.

Merriwa Springtime Show

Volunteers Needed!!
We are looking for volunteers to help for 1 hour during the festival of the fleeces!
To help out the festival committee, every year the show society help set up and pack away the barrier for the parade down the main street. It only takes about an hour (30 min to set up and 30 min to pack up)
We need minimum of 6 volunteers to make things run smoothly.
A large portion of the show executive committee are also on the Festival committee and will be unable to help, so we are really looking for a few extra hands.
If you are going to be at the Festival of the Fleeces, we would really appreciate some help.
We will meet behind the VRA at the shipping container at 11:00am on Saturday.
If you are available, please contact Tyler Austin on 0427823393
