‘Rosemary for Legacy’

Yes it’s that time of year again when Merriwa rallies and we harvest quality Rosemary stems to send down to the Legacy charity in Sydney, where it is made into Sprigs to be worn on lapels for the Anzac Day parade.

If you have some Rosemary with straight stems (unfortunately the wavey variety are not suitable), please deliver to the Merriwa RSL club on Tuesday 16th April from 11.30-5pm.

Merriwa has been supplying the Legacy charity with Rosemary for nearly 30 years (it all started with John Penninger) and has raised over $30,000 per year towards this great charity which helps the families of ex service personnel in need.

Merriwa Rotary club are our great supporters and help with the harvest each year for which we are very grateful.

Many thanks,
Annie Rodgers
