For your efforts we will install a free smoke alarm, just visit this page: www.fire.nsw.gov.au/visits (we will install it even if you don’t have any feedback).

We’d love to hear from you if you have seen our ads or a poster around town. Please let us know if the messaging is working.

If you have considered applying but not taken the next step, please let us know why?

Did you know all your time with Fire and Rescue NSW is paid?

Did you know we spend more time working on prevention and education of our community (also paid) than we do attending incidents?

Did you know you get all the training and equipment you need.

Please provide any feedback about how we recruit, your thoughts on working for us or what’s holding you back. You can comment here or message the page.

You can apply now by visiting www.fire.nsw.gov.au/oncall

KIDS COOKING

Firstly, we would like to thank the lovely children from Merriwa Central School. They made our day very special and enjoyed our lovely lunch they cooked. Well done guy’s. Come back anytime.

Next, we will be at the rooms on Thursday 14th September to do our decorating of cupcakes and biscuits to enter into the show for the week end.

Where: CWA Rooms

Time: 3.30pm

All welcome

Any child (between the ages of 12 – 17) that would like to have a go at cooking a tea cake to enter into the show. Feel free to come at 3.30pm on Thursday. All we ask is that you let us know that you wish to come for the tea cakes so we have enough ingredients.

Thank you

Kim Clydsdale
