Week Starting 22nd January 2024

Merriwa Rotary Club

Grain Growers Talk

Rotary Club of Merriwa. Grain growers take note.
We wish to invite grain growers and others interested to our meeting on Tuesday 23rd January, 2024 where we will have the pleasure of the company of local lad Zach Whale. Zach will be our guest speaker for the evening. After stints with Commonwealth Department of Agriculture and AgForce Queensland Farmers, he is now General Manager of Policy and Advocacy with membership organisation Grain Growers, leading a team to ensure national policy settings help grain producers thrive. This evening should be very interesting to Merriwa and Cassilis grain growers.

Our meetings are held at the Merriwa Sports Club on King George V Ave., commencing at 7.00pm for 7.30pm meal. Bookings are essential for catering purposes so please ring John Sparrow on 0499488560 prior to 19/01/2024. Cost of the meal is $30.
